We are looking for you!

  • Provide our guests a personal warm and enthusiastic welcome in our restaurant.
  • You ensure that all guests have a special Amber Garden experience, and leave the house satisfied.
  • Your daily tasks are recommending menus and serving dishes, wines and drinks.
  • You are flexible in working hours and available on weekends.
  • Hospitality is in your blood, you are spontaneous and enthusiastic.
  • You speak Dutch and/or English, Chinese is an advantage.

Your daily work:

  • Managing the lunch and dinner team.
  • Handling requests and (group) reservations via e-mail and managing the online reservation system.
  • Accept and follow up group and event reservations.
  • Work closly with hostess/host by supporting the service.
  • Work closy with the Chef by communicating and evaluating daily operations.
  • Respond reviews on social media and maintaining public relations.

 

What do we expect from you:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a manager (assistant) in a restaurant.
  • Have wine knowledge and passion for gastronomy.
  • Good at communicating and team player.

As a sommelier you work closely with the restaurant manager and chef. Together with the team you are responsible for a fantastic experience at our restaurant. You give wine advice to guests and behind the screen you are responsible for organizing the wine stock. You enjoy going to tastings to keep up-to-date wine knowledge.

Your daily work:

  • Compile the wine list and combine wine arrangements with the changing menus.
  • Wine training for employees.
  • Check and replenish the wine stock
  • Arrange wine purchase

 

What do we expect from you:

  • Minimum 5 year experience as a (assistant) sommelier in a fine dining restaurant. 
  • You have excellent wine knowledge and are in possession of a WSET 3 certificate.
  • You have ey for detail and quality.
  • You have a naturel service attitude and are a team player.
  • Hospitable, representative, flexible and stress resistant.

Your daily work:

  • Manage and motivate kitchen staff in preparing dishes and cleaning the kitchen
  • Manage inventory, ensure daily necessities are on stock.
  • Monitoring compliance with safety and hygien regulations in the kitchen.
  • Monitoring the quality of dishes and the progress
  • Prepare your own dishes

 

What do we expect from you:

  • Minimum 3 year experience in Chinese cuisine
  • Speak English and Chinese fluently
  • You are motivates and have proactive attitude towards work, restaurant and colleagues.
  • You are acknowledged with products and have experience with oriental menus.
  • You are flexible.
