As a waiter you will work closely with a Head Waiter as a team to attend the basic service needs of our customers as well as possible. The team will gradually instruct you to obtain the necessary Hospitality skills to provide high quality service.


Work activities:

  • Support the Head Waiter in providing service to the customers
  • Learn about the standards of restaurant service.

 

Profile:

  • At least some experience in serving
  • Representative and customer-focused
  • Dutch and English work-proficiency
  • Affinity with Asian food is a plus

As a Head Waiter you are responsible for the service within the section you are appointed to in the restaurant. Your main focus is to maintain the service standards for yourself and for the waiters (up to 3) while actively partaking in service duties. You are expected to be able to instruct and share knowledge with your subordinates in a proper manner. You will report directly to the restaurant manager.


Work activities: 

Maintaining control and overview of service for 10-15 tables at a time

Serve as an example for subordinates in carrying out our service standards

Monitoring and educating wait staff in their work activities

Provide feedback to improve our service concept


Profile:

  • At least 3 year experience in a supervisor role or higher
  • Proactive personality with a sense of responsibility towards subordinates
  • Proficient in Mandarin Chinese and English, Dutch is a plus
  • Experience in fine-dining restaurants is a plus
  • Affinity with Asian food is a plus

Preparing beverages and serving them or through the wait staff. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.


Work activities:

  • Taking beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested
  • Paying extreme attention to detail
  • Satisfying guests’ requests in a timely manner
  • Providing a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting
  • Keeping a well-stocked stock bar with an adequate supply of beverages and other accessories
  • Cleaning the bar and work area to maintain a sanitary environment

 

Profile:
  • 21 years old or older
  • Proficient in English or Mandarin Chinese, Dutch is a plus
  • Acknowledge in wine or spirits is a plus
  • Strong communication skills

As a dishwasher, you work together with your colleagues to ascertain all the crockery and cutlery are spick-and-span. You are able to keep your work area clean to ensure the safety of everyone who enters and leaves the dishwasher area.


Work activities:

  • Ensuring the automatic dishwasher is properly operated and functions properly
  • Washing, sorting and storing all the crockery, cutlery and kitchen tools
  • Transporting goods from the storage to the kitchen and vice versa. Assisting in putting away trash and packaging

  • Able to communicate in either English or Dutch
  • Situated in and around Amstelveen
  • Physically healthy as work will include physical labor

Under the direction and supervision of the Restaurant Manager, the Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for security, customer service and cleanliness of the entire restaurant facility while overseeing facility operations.


Work activities:

  • Provide overall supervision of the building to ensure all equipment and events are running smoothly and that guests are served beyond their expectations. 
  • Handle all emergency situations, contact supervisor when required and act as safety lead during any emergency situation
  • Light maintenance responsibility when issues arise in facility
  • Work as a team player with co-workers
  • Assist restaurant operating when needed
  • Support online marketing activities and financial report

Profile:
  • Ability to recognize public safety concerns and the initiative to act upon
  • Familiarity with restaurant equipment and it’s care
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and recreation software or the ability to learn
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and responsible with minimal supervision
  • Dutch and English work-proficiency
  • Affinity with Chinese food and language is a plus
